Thank you for contributing to the IAPP Canada Privacy Symposium 2024.

Zachary Foote

Zachary Foote, programming and speaker coordinator, will be your main contact at the IAPP during the event life cycle. Please reach out to Zachary if you have any questions.

To help ensure the success of your session, please see these important instructions:

Conference venue: The Westin Harbour Castle, Toronto Hotel, 1 Harbour Square, Toronto, ON Canada M5J 1A6, Tel: +1 416.869.1600.

Speaker registration: You will automatically be awarded a complimentary pass to the event and registered as a speaker by IAPP staff. Your conference pass is eligible for all programming and events happening on Monday and Tuesday, 10-11 June. If you are speaking on a workshop, your pass will include your workshop. If you would like to add a training or workshop to your registration (at an additional cost), please contact Zachary at zfoote@iapp.org.

Dietary accommodations: Should you require a special diet, please contact speaker coordinator Zachary at zfoote@iapp.org to indicate your needs before 29 April. Choices are: dairy-free, gluten-free, kosher, vegan or vegetarian.

Speaker presentation template: All speakers using a presentation must download and use the IAPP Canada Privacy Symposium 2024 presentation template, found here.

 

Important deadlines

Due now: Check the online schedule to see your session date and time.

Due now: Send us your headshot and a brief biography if we do not already have this on file.

Due Now: Listen to the speaker orientation, originally presented on 16 April. Please contact Zachary if you do not currently have access to the orientation.

19 April: Deadline for initial planning call with co-panelists and chairperson.

3 May: Send draft presentations to your chair/speaker coordinator.

29 May: Send final presentation to your chair/speaker coordinator.

Additional programming information
Need to make a change to speakers or presentation content? It is important to run it by us. Changes must be approved by IAPP to uphold the quality of our agenda and keep our publications current. Please contact Zachary immediately if you need to make adjustments.

Speaker workroom

This space is just for speakers — your home away from home. Pick up your thank-you gift, print your presentation notes, meet with your co-panelists for refreshments, work quietly, or have your questions answered by the speaker manager.

The workroom is available during the following hours:

Monday, 10 June, 08:00-17:45
Tuesday, 11 June, 08:00-15:30
