Privacy Expert on DHS Committee
Daniel Caprio Jr., Global Public Affairs Advisory Council member for Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, recently began a multiyear term on the Department of Homeland Security Data Privacy and Integrity Advisory Committee. The committee works to solve prevalent issues at the intersection of business, government and society.
In addition to his role with Waggener Edstrom, he is president of DC Strategies LLC. He is the former chief privacy officer and deputy assistant secretary for technology policy at the U.S. Department of Commerce, and former president of the Progress & Freedom Foundation.
"I look forward to the opportunity to work with the talented professionals on the DHS committee," Caprio said.
