Elizabeth Khalil is a senior compliance policy analyst at the FDIC in Washington, DC, where she serves as a subject matter expert on privacy and data security, social media and payment systems and makes policy recommendations involving novel compliance issues affecting the banking industry. Previously, she was a senior associate at Hogan Lovells US LLP, where she co-authored the Financial Services Answer Book, published by the Practising Law Institute. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Khalil was a senior attorney at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

Khalil is a graduate of Georgetown University and the University of Michigan Law School.
