Dr. Christopher Pierson is the EVP, chief security officer and chief compliance officer for LSQ Holdings, where he oversees its cybersecurity and compliance program. Prior to joining LSQ, Pierson was the SVP and first chief privacy officer for the Royal Bank of Scotland’s U.S. banking operations, leading its privacy and data protection program. Pierson also served as a corporate attorney for Lewis and Roca, where he established its Cybersecurity Practice and advised on information security and data breaches. He also serves as an appointed member for the Department of Homeland Security Data Privacy and Integrity Advisory Committee and Cybersecurity Subcommittee, providing advice and guidance to the secretary and chief privacy officer on policy, operational, strategy and technological issues.  Additionally, Pierson is a distinguished fellow of the Ponemon Institute. 

Pierson is a graduate of Boston College (BA, MA) and the University of Iowa (PhD, JD). He speaks at national events and is frequently quoted on cybersecurity.
