In early May, the Canadian privacy community gathered in Toronto, ON, for the IAPP Canada Privacy Symposium, offering exceptional programming and thought-provoking discussion on the today’s most pivotal privacy issues.
With an all-star speaker lineup that included Google’s Keith P. Enright and Alma Whitten and Microsoft’s John Weigelt; the Fireside Chat, where we heard from Assistant Privacy Commissioner Bernier and Commissioners Cavoukian, Clayton and Denham; numerous networking opportunities and special events; and more than 30 sessions led by the experts shaping privacy and data protection today, Toronto was buzzing with excitement surrounding the Symposium.
This year’s was largest Symposium to date, solidifying the event as a leader in privacy and data protection education and networking. Many thanks to the attendees and all others who contributed to its success.
