About the IAPP

Partner at Martinez Devia & Asociados. I have a law degree from Universidad de los Andes and a Master's degree in Comparative Law, focused on Intellectual Property, from the California Western School of Law in San Diego.

I am also certified as an Internal Auditor for ISO. (Information Security Management Systems - ISO 27001: 2013 and as Certified Information Privacy Professional for Europe (CIPP/E). I have over 10 years of work experience in matters related to data privacy, investments and intellectual and industrial property, both in Colombia and the United States. I am also a member of different associations in Colombia and in the International landscape as well, such as ALT + CO, IAPP, ALAP, and INTA.

In addition, I am a Data Protection and Intellectual Property professor at several Colombian universities, including Universidad Sergio Arboleda, Universidad Externado de Colombia, Universidad del Rosario and Universidad de los Andes.
