Senior Consultant, Ethicist

Angela is a Senior Consultant at INQ. Before joining INQ, Angela was responsible for executing a world-class compliance program for the e-Genomics program, which aimed to integrate genetic data into the Electronic Health Record and implement precision medicine into the health care system. She has also developed a privacy program for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses for the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, Government of Canada, including consultation across Canadian jurisdictions.

Previously, Angela was the Director of Data Ethics & Privacy at the Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Health Information, leading the e-Health transition and the development of a provincial data governance framework for Newfoundland & Labrador. Angela has a Masters in Health Ethics and is an Interdisciplinary Ph.D. candidate focusing on the ethics of AI and health innovation and teaches ethics in the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University.
