About the IAPP

Daniel G.C. Glover is national co-lead of McCarthy Tétrault LLP’s Cyber/Data Group. His insights come from exposure to many different areas of law touching on the exploitation and protection of information, including privacy, cybersecurity, breach response, IP infringement, privilege, anti-spam, confidential information, competition law, and Internet law. Dan has advised clients in relation to the three largest data breaches in Canadian history, significant privacy class actions, and landmark cases before the Supreme Court of Canada, the US Supreme Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, and other leading courts, including Equustek Solutions Inc. v. Google Inc., 2017 SCC 73 and, most recently, Canada (Privacy Commissioner) v. Facebook, Inc., 2023 FC 533.
