Do Not Track: Implementation and Impact

The Federal Trade Commission in its preliminary report "Protecting Consumer Privacy in an Era of Rapid Change" supports "a more uniform and comprehensive consumer choice mechanism" for Internet users to control the tracking of their web browsing patterns. Several major browser companies have responded to this call for a "Do Not Track" control. We've assembled an expert panel to discuss these developments.
