The Privacy team within Trustworthy Computing is looking for a Sr. Privacy Strategist to work with key engineering groups advising on privacy matters and helping to drive new privacy features and practices.
This role has two main components. The first is partnering with privacy leaders and teams across the company to help guide our privacy decisions and keep our privacy promises worldwide. The second is ownership of specific TwC privacy initiatives touching multiple parts of the company.
The TwC Privacy team is responsible managing Microsoft’s overall privacy program including advising engineering groups and others on identifying and addressing emerging privacy issues in new products and services. We are highly collaborative, entrepreneurial and deeply focused on delivering timely guidance to the various groups with whom we work. We work closely with our partners in LCA and the privacy teams across the company. The position is based in Redmond, WA
The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills and a deep subject matter expertise in online privacy. Security expertise is an additional plus. The candidate should be an independent driver and excellent team player who has the ability to understand and evangelize solutions to complex privacy matters that span multiple products and services. The candidate brings sound business judgment, an ability to think strategically, and a desire to establish a "trusted advisor" relationship with key partners across the company.
