Big Data is driving the information economy, giving it the increasingly common moniker of "the new oil.” For data artist Jer Thorpe, such a comparison may not be such a good thing. Thorpe was among several artists who presented new ways of visualizing data at the IAPP’s “un-conference,” Navigate.
