Polish legislative bodies have proposed a legal framework for the processing of medical data in electronic form. “The changes will influence both the public and private medical sectors and may lead to new business models within the healthcare sector,” writes Marcin Lewoszewski of CMS Cameron McKenna in this exclusive for The Privacy Advisor. Healthcare providers and service providers will need to meet requirements from the data protection act, including entering into trusted agreements and applying security measures in line with Polish data protection law.
