The Wall Street Journal reports that, as a result of the recent Epsilon data breach, GlaxoSmithKlein has warned consumers in a letter that their e-mail addresses and names "were accessed by an unauthorized third party." The company makes drugs for asthma, HIV, depression and smoking cessation, among others. The breach may have exposed which product sites consumers are registered for, according to the company, which could help fraudsters discern what prescription drugs they take, warns CAUCE, a spam coalition.
