Luis Salazar, CIPP, has joined Florida law firm Infante, Zimpano, Hudson and Miloch, LLC as a partner. He will chair the firm’s Corporate Reorganization and Bankruptcy Department. Salazar drafted the Privacy Policy Enforcement in Bankruptcy Act of 2001, which prohibits bankrupt companies from misusing consumers’ private information and requires the appointment of an ombudsman to protect consumers’ privacy rights. He is a member of the IAPP Publications Advisory Board and has been recognized by “Best Lawyers in America.”
