Building upon success
Federal Trade Commission Chairman William E. Kovacic addressed privacy professionals during last month's Privacy Dinner at the Willard Hotel in Washington, DC. The chairman said that the good things happening at the commission now result from the work of his predecessors of 5-10 years ago and the great work of his colleagues today. "Decade by decade, my predecessors and colleagues have built the capacity for the agency to do well," Kovacic said. "If these types of norms are sustained, the success will continue."
