Identity Theft Assistance Center Announces New Officers

The Identity Theft Assistance Center (ITAC) recently announced the election of new officers for 2008.

New appointments include: Brian McGinley, Senior Vice President & Group Executive, Deposit & Loss Operations, Wachovia Corporation, Chairman of the Board; Diana Starcher, Executive Vice President, Customer Service, Sales & Operations, Wells Fargo Bank, Vice Chairman; Robert Shiflet, Fraud Executive of the Consumer Card and Small Business Operations Group, Bank of America, Vice Chairman; Diana Hickert-Hill, Vice President, Customer Experience, Genworth Financial, Inc., Secretary; and James Mignone, Chief Information Security Officer and Senior Vice President, Citizens Financial Group, Treasurer.

Also, Anne Wallace has been elevated to ITAC president. Ms. Wallace served as executive director since the inception of ITAC in 2004. Steve Bartlett, President and CEO of The Financial Services Roundtable, will serve as ITAC Executive Chairman.

ITAC has helped more than 30,000 consumers restore their financial identities since 2004.
