A federal judge has ruled the director of national intelligence properly withheld documents related to how his office uses databases to fight terrorism, Courthouse News Service reports. The Electronic Privacy Information Center filed suit in Washington, DC, after obtaining documents via a Freedom of Information Act request with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence on how the National Counterterrorism Center gets information from other federal agencies, the report states. Meanwhile, Director of the National Security Agency (NSA) Gen. Keith Alexander said the NSA must regain consumer and industry trust.
