Proposed changes to Facebook’s data use policy have some regulators and privacy advocates concerned about potential privacy violations, The Washington Post reports. Announced last Wednesday, the changes would include a plan to share data with affiliates such as Instagram, instituting “new filters for managing incoming messages” and ending the user voting system for policy changes.
