Speaking to MPs on the Justice and Electoral Select Committee, New Zealand Privacy Commissioner Marie Shroff said the growing practice of employers demanding job applicants' social networking passwords is a concerning trend, The New Zealand Herald reports. "My preliminary view is that it is undesirable to use that kind of pressure in any kind of application situation," Shroff said.
