Yahoo says it will implement a do-not-track system by early summer, The Wall Street Journal reports. The tool has been in development for several months, the report states, and it "is in accordance with the Digital Advertising Alliance's principles." In its privacy report issued earlier this week, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission urged commercial data collectors to step up efforts to implement do-not-track mechanisms by year's end.
