The widely accepted idea that everyone under the age of 30 is comfortable revealing their personal information online may not reflect reality. A survey released last month by the University of California, Berkeley, found that more than half of those questioned have become more concerned about privacy, and a new study to be released this month by the Pew Internet Project has found that people in their 20s exert more control over their digital reputations than older adults. The New York Times reports that these and other recent surveys indicate pervasive mistrust of social networking sites. As one college student put it, "I don't think they would look out for me.
