Better protection for children
The CNIL, the French Data Protection Authority, has signed a partnership agreement with “la Défenseure des enfants” (the Children’s Advocate), an independent authority in charge of enforcing and promoting children’s rights. They plan to sensitize youngsters and educational staff to the protection of personal data, in particular over the Internet.
