KPMG Scholarships Bring Privacy's Next Generation to the Table
Five law school students received scholarships from KPMG to attend the IAPP Privacy Summit in Washington, D.C. in March. "This was a great sponsorship opportunity for us," said Lisa Lowman of KPMG, "a great way to do some mentoring and to hear new ideas from the up-and-coming privacy professionals." Lowman added that, as a "big four" firm, recruiting is always an important focus.
University of Maine senior Kyle Friedman said the opportunity to hear so many different perspectives on the topic of privacy at the conference was "invaluable."
