Global Marketing Data Protection and Privacy Manager
Neil Matthews is responsible for introducing corporate policy into the global marketing organisation within Dell, advising on new technology and ensuring privacy-compliant solutions globally to embrace the scope of new technology.
Before joining Dell, Matthews spent three years advising on privacy and telemarketing operations within Acxiom Limited. Prior to that, he headed the compliance unit at the UK Direct Marketing Association, preceded by over 20 years in the direct mail sector.
Matthews has advised on marketing and data protection, actively participating in external organisations such as FEDMA, DMA (UK) and the IAPP.
Currently, Matthews serves as vice chair of the London IAPP KnowledgeNets and is a member of the IAPP’s European Advisory Board.
