Cecilia Boudreau, CIPP/US, CIPP/IT

Cecilia Boudreau provides general legal advice and policy guidance to the association’s programs and staff, focusing on IT, data and privacy issues. She also drafts and reviews complex agreements, including contracts for software development and licenses, consulting, data sharing and inter-organization collaborations.
Boudreau has worked to establish and currently staffs the AAMC’s privacy program, where she drafts and implements policies, trains staff and consults with new business, research and data initiatives. She has coordinated responses to international privacy regulators and breach responses. She is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US and CIPP/IT).
Boudreau received her JD from the University of Washington in 2008, and she has a BA in political science from Boston College. During law school, she interned with drugstore.com, inc., providing in-house guidance on contract, intellectual property and advertising matters, and clerked for her school’s Entrepreneurial Law Clinic, assisting small business owners and entrepreneurs with legal and business issues.
Boudreau is a member of the District of Columbia bar.
