Dianna Carr is a Senior Privacy Analyst within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), National Protection and Programs Directorate (NPPD). She is specifically aligned to the Office of Infrastructure Protection, where she works with various programs to develop/review privacy compliance documentation and provide guidance on mitigating privacy risk. Her other responsibilities include conducting general privacy awareness training and role-based training for various offices within NPPD, developing privacy awareness materials and handling privacy incidents. Additionally, Ms. Carr leads the NPPD Privacy Social Media Working Group, which is comprised of representatives from each office within NPPD and meets on a regular basis to discuss current uses of social media, existing policies and future needs.
Prior to joining NPPD, Ms. Carr was an Associate on the Privacy and Information Management Team at Booz Allen Hamilton. Ms. Carr has a Bachelors of Science in Finance from Lehigh University and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional / Government (CIPP/G).
