Navigate 2012

Think, discuss, decide

Navigate is an “un-conference”—an intimate gathering where influential senior privacy leaders work through some of the most pressing questions facing the profession today. This open forum encourages high-level discussion, and executives collaborate, share vision and shape new approaches to the profession’s biggest challenges.

On October 10, privacy thought leaders gathered at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA, to explore the value and risks of big data, the challenges that rapid expansion in this area pose and the important role of privacy by design. Plus, attendees heard from three incredible keynotes, Executive Director of the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University Urs Gasser, Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Google Kent Walker and Create with Context Principal Ilana Westerman.

We’d like to thank the attendees, program chairs and speakers for their valuable contributions to this year’s Navigate.
