Mason A. Weisz, CIPP/US


Mason Weisz’s practice focuses on complex privacy issues in rapidly evolving industries.  Drawing on experience as a computer programmer and web designer, Weisz regularly advises clients on a wide range of privacy issues relating to the Internet, digital media, e-commerce and new technology.  Representative matters include advising software developers and technology manufacturers on privacy and security strategy in product design; advising key participants in the online advertising ecosystem on program rules and data usage; and designing compliant, data-driven, global marketing initiatives.  Based in New York, Weisz frequently leverages his fluency in Spanish and French to manage large-scale, international data protection assessments, remediation programs and project roll-outs, with emphasis on the Americas and Europe. 

Weisz graduated from the New York University School of Law, where he was a founding member of the Journal of Law and Business.  Super Lawyers has recognized him as a “Rising Star” for the last three years.
