The IAPP offers volunteer leadership positions for members who want to get more involved in the IAPP, share their expertise and get to know other members. No matter what your interest or experience, we welcome you to submit your name for consideration for one of our many advisory boards, or as a speaker or publications contributor.
Here’s what our volunteers say:
“Being acknowledged as an expert in the field by the certification body is an amazing and humbling experience. Serving on IAPP advisory boards is time well spent when you consider the benefits you receive in giving your time and yourself to the profession and the development of others.”
—Sarah Morrow, CIPP/US, Chief Privacy Officer, Penn State
“Serving on several IAPP Advisory Boards over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with thought leaders both at the IAPP and worldwide. The knowledge I attained during working sessions with the board was of great value."
—Terry McQuay, CIPP/US, CIPP/C, CIPP/E, CIPP/G, CIPM, President, NYMITY Inc.
“Being a co-chair for the London KnowledgeNet has been a great experience in terms of growth, leadership, networking and fun. It’s wonderful to have contributed to developing such a great forum for discussion and debate.”
