Monika McQuillen is partner and heads the data protection group at Eversheds in Switzerland. Acting as counsel and advocate, she regularly advises national and international clients on various data protection issues, including privacy policies, whistle blower hotlines, centralization of data storage facilities and e-commerce terms and conditions.
Prior to joining Eversheds, McQuillen worked for several years in the operational business and subsequently in the legal services department of an international chemical company in Germany and Pennsylvania, U.S., and then with a Swiss law firm specialising in employment and data protection, arbitration and commercial litigation.
McQuillen studied law at the University of Zurich and holds a post-graduate degree (LLM) from the University of Cologne. She is admitted to the Swiss bar (Zurich).
