Russell R. Densmore is currently the deputy chief privacy officer for Lockheed Martin Corporation headquartered in Bethesda, MD. Densmore helped pioneer the corporate-wide privacy team at Lockheed Martin and was instrumental in developing and implementing several privacy practices across multiple business areas and functions, instituting policies, procedures, training and awareness into the operations of the corporation.
Densmore has been involved in information technology engineering, information security, law enforcement and physical security for over 30 years. He has specialized in computer forensics, enterprise network security, investigations and civil and criminal prosecutions. He has been recognized by the U.S. attorney general and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for support against cyber criminals. Densmore is also the chairman of the IAPP’s CIPP/M Certification Advisory Board.
Densmore received his bachelor of science degree in computer information systems from Regis University and is also certified as a Certified Information Privacy Professional/US (CIPP/US), Certified Information Privacy Professional/IT (CIPP/IT), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Forensic Analyst (CFA).
