Robin Gould-Soil, CIPP/C

Robin Gould-Soil brings to the table firsthand experience working in the many domains affected by privacy. She currently leads the privacy program for University Health Network.

Gould-Soil was the director and acting director general of PIPEDA at the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) through an 18-month interchange program from the TD Bank Group (TDBG), where she was accountable for providing executive leadership in developing and implementing strategies, processes and systems for managing and resolving privacy complaints brought under PIPEDA.

Prior to her secondment, Gould-Soil led the privacy program for TDBG for over 10 years, where she was charged with championing a strategic, enterprise-wide approach to privacy; developing and implementing privacy programs to ensure compliance throughout global operations; and embedding a privacy mindset into the workplace culture and all relevant business processes.

Gould-Soil is an active member of the IAPP Canadian Advisory Board and a former member of the CMA Privacy Working Committee. She is also an advisory board member of the Conference Board of Canada's Council of Chief Privacy Officers.
