Doris A. Patrick is an enterprise privacy manager at Ally Bank and Ally Financial with responsibility for privacy governance as well as conducting privacy compliance risk assessments, privacy impact assessments of technology development or enhancement projects and privacy program maturity assessments. Patrick is a subject matter expert on choice management, automotive finance and marketing privacy issues. Prior to divestiture of the global business lines at Ally, she acted as the SME and liaison between the enterprise privacy office and the Canadian and Latin American lines of business. She has held privacy leadership and consulting positions in a privacy consulting firm, a privacy compliance technology company and the marketing organization of a Fortune 100 global manufacturing company. In those roles she conducted risk and compliance assessments, developed and delivered classroom and webinar privacy training, created and led cross-functional privacy governance teams and developed tools and methodologies to streamline the privacy program development process. In addition, Doris’ background includes international marketing, market research, database and financial management positions in the financial services, advertising, radio and automotive industries.

Patrick earned an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BSA in marketing, finance and international business from the University of Michigan, Dearborn. She is an active IAPP member, is a past member of the CIPM and CIPP/C certification advisory boards, and holds the CIPP/US, CIPP/C, CIPP/IT and CIPM credentials.
