Antonis Patrikios, CIPP/E

Antonis Patrikios is a director in the Privacy and Information Law Group of Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP. Based in London, he advises on both contentious and non-contentious privacy and information, data protection and data security matters, with a particular focus on the technology and communications and media and entertainment sectors. The clients he works with include some of the world’s largest international corporations in these sectors.
Patrikios has particular experience advising on complex cross-jurisdictional matters, new projects compliance and privacy impact assessments, data security compliance and breach action. He has been part of the legal teams advising clients on longer-term strategies following serious incidents, dealing with regulators and challenging regulatory decisions, as well as on binding corporate rules, employee monitoring projects and cooperation with law enforcement authorities. He has completed successful client secondments to a global mobile communications group, a major UK mobile communications company, a major U.S. telecoms company and a major UK broadcaster. He regularly writes and speaks on matters of interest to his practice, and is the author of chapters on applicable law and surveillance activities in IAPP’s European Privacy, Law and Practice for Data Protection Professionals.
Patrikios is a dually qualified English solicitor and Greek dikigoros (Athens Bar), a CIPP/E and a member of the IAPP faculty. He holds a PhD from the Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary University of London.
